The Uttar Pradesh Homestay and Bed & Breakfast (B&B) Policy 2025 has been formulated to simplify the process for operating permitted Homestay and B&B units established in Uttar Pradesh, by obtaining No Objection Certificates from the concerned local authorities as per the rules. The policy also includes provisions for providing various financial incentives and grants to these permitted units.

The Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, introduces “Star Classification System” approval of Star Classification of Operational Hotels and Resorts with the State of Uttar Pradesh.
The objective of introducing the “Star Classifications System” by the Department of Tourism, Government of Uttar Pradesh, is to promote qualitative and contemporary standards of facilities and services within the hotel and resort industry of the state at par with national standards similar to the standards of hotels and resorts that have obtained “Star Classification Status” from the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.
Uttar Pradesh is famous for its many forts, monuments and temples that have always attracted both local and foreign tourists every year. In the light of the same, the New Tourism Policy 2022 is now out!
